Magnetic Bracelet Therapy

Magnetic therapy is the application of the magnetic field of electromagnets or permanent magnets static body of health benefits claimed. These benefits may be specific, as in the case of healing wounds, or more generally, increased energy and vitality. In the latter case, the discomfort is sometimes described as a "magnetic field Deficiency Syndrome" Some doctors have different effects on the orientation of the magnets is based, according to the laws of physics, the magnetic poles are symmetrical.
The products include: bracelets and magnetic jewellery, magnetic tape for wrists, ankles, knees and back upholstery of shoes, mattresses, blankets, magnetic (blankets with magnets woven into the material), and even water that has magnetized. The request is usually made by the patient.

Safety and efficacy
these devices are generally considered safe for themselves, although it may have significant financial costs and opportunity of magnet therapy, especially if the treatment or diagnosis may be avoided or delayed.
Probably the mechanism most often proposed is that magnets may improve blood flow in underlying tissues. The area of magnetic therapy devices is much too low and decreases with the distance too quickly to affect significantly the haemoglobin other components of blood, muscles, bones, blood vessels or organs. A study of 1991 men of static field strengths of up to 1 T had no effect on local blood circulation. The oxygen supply to tissues is also affected. Some doctors say that the restoration of the body magnets in the theory of "balance of electromagnetic energy" may be, but no such balance is medically recognized. Even in reasoned magnetic domains in magnetic resonance imaging, the multiples are widely used, noted that none of the alleged effects.
Several studies in recent years to investigate, if necessary, to play their role in the static magnetic fields in health and healing. Objective study of the magnetic field are problematic, since the magnetization can be easily recognized, for example, by the forces of attraction (objects containing iron), because they know, with effect from trials (where neither patients nor the evaluators, which is the treatment compared to the difficult. incomplete or inadequate treatment effects rather striking, especially if these effects are small. Health claims such as longevity and treatment of cancer is plausible, and without any exaggeration research. More mundane health claims, the most common analgesics, lack has also proposed a credible mechanism, and clinical research is not promising.
The effects of magnetic therapy to relieve pain on a response rate of nonspecific placebo have not been sufficiently demonstrated. In 2003, a Cochrane review of treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome found no improvement in symptoms compared with placebo or control. A 2008 review of systematic magnetic therapy for all indications found no evidence of an effect on pain, with the possible exception of osteoarthritis. Both evaluations have reported that small samples, lack of randomization and allocation concealment difficulties with which all tend to order distortion studies are positive, which limits the strength of any conclusions.
